Enhancing Document Visual Quality Ahead of Accreditation, PT Karya Inovasi Berkelanjutan Standardizes the Layout of 64 Journal Articles
As part of our ongoing commitment to managing a professional platform for scholarly communication, PT Karya Inovasi Berkelanjutan officially announces the implementation of a standardization and re-layout program for previously published manuscripts. This policy is enacted through the Director's Decree (SK Direktur) Number PROGRAM. NARAKTUAL/A/1026/2026.
This standardization program targets 64 scientific articles in the fields of medicine, health, and biomedicine published in Volume 1 and Volume 2 of Jurnal Kisi Berkelanjutan: Sains Medis dan Kesehatan.
This managerial step was taken to unify the journal's in-house style (PDF visual format) from its inaugural volume to the latest issues. Furthermore, this effort serves as a strategic preparation by the editorial management to fulfill the feasibility instruments for the National Journal Accreditation (SINTA) in the coming year, which emphasizes the consistency of layout and electronic document governance.
Regarding the implementation of this activity, the management of PT Karya Inovasi Berkelanjutan and the Editorial Board emphasize several principles of publication ethics compliance:
-
Maintenance of Substantive Integrity: The adjustments are purely cosmetic and visual (typography, margins, and column placement). Absolutely no changes are made to the scientific substance, narrative text, data, figures, author affiliations, or reference lists.
-
Document Transparency: As a form of accountability for the academic Version of Record, every PDF document that undergoes layout adjustments will feature a visual editing (re-typeset) note in the footer of the page.
-
Integrity of Digital Identity: The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) links and metadata records across indexing systems are guaranteed to remain secure, intact, and properly linked to each author's respective article page.
Through this standardization, the publisher hopes that all scholarly works entrusted by the academic community in the early volumes can be archived, disseminated, and cited with a superior document presentation quality that thoroughly meets national publication standards.
This announcement is issued for the information of our authors, readers, and relevant stakeholders.
