The Kisi Berkelanjutan: Sains Medis dan Kesehatan journal is committed to implementing and maintaining ethical standards in scientific journal publishing. This ethical statement aims to provide guidance to authors, editors, and review editors/peer reviewers to ensure that the implementation of the publication stages is in accordance with ethical principles. It adopts the statements of the Committee on Publication Ethics and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.

- Authors must ensure that the scientific paper submitted is original work and does not violate copyright or plagiarism.
- All data reported in the article must be accurate and verifiable. Falsification and manipulation of data will not be tolerated.
Compliance with Research Ethics

- Research involving humans or animals must comply with applicable ethical guidelines and obtain relevant approval from a health research ethics committee.
- Authors must explain the research methods used and the ethical approval of this research in the manuscript.

Article Correction and Retraction
The correction and retraction of articles represent a form of follow-up measures implemented in response to violations of academic integrity. We endeavor to adhere to established guidelines by undertaking the following steps:
- If significant errors or inaccuracies are discovered in a published article, the Editorial Office of the Kisi Berkelanjutan: Sains Medis dan Kesehatan journal is committed to publishing a correction or retraction of the article in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics ⧉, and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors ⧉.
- Authors should work closely with editors to ensure appropriate corrections are made as soon as possible.

- Authors must disclose all funding sources and potential conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their research.
- Peer Reviewers and editors must also disclose conflicts of interest that may affect the journal's publication processing.
Fair Review Process and Confidentiality
The review process, whether carried out by editors or peer reviewers, is based on the principles of fairness and confidentiality in accordance with COPE's guidelines ⧉.
- Submitted manuscripts will go through a transparent, objective and fair review process.
- Editors and Peer Reviewers must assess manuscripts professionally, fairly, and objectively without personal bias.
- Editors and peer reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts received for review and are not permitted to share information about the manuscript except with authorized parties.
